3D printing honeycomb interactive mini DELTA robot

The dynamic Delta robot currently being developed by Petkus and Koch is named Light Play, which is an improved version of the original robot army. On May 16 and 17 this year, the two of them will take the light dance robot army to the California Bay Area to participate in the Maker Carnival there.

Petkus is the designer of this project and calls herself a master of publicity. She is mainly responsible for the concept and manufacturing of product shells, while Koch is an electronic engineer, responsible for all technical work, including circuit design and code writing.

This talented duo once demonstrated its light dance robot army at the Bay Area Maker Carnival last year. It is an array of 30 Delta robots. This robot army can neatly and uniformly imitate the body posture of people interacting with it, which is very impressive. Petkus hopes that the next iteration will not only have more robots, but also allow robots to move relatively independently.

"Imagine if every Delta robot is a leaf on the grass, and your action is to shake their wind," Petkus said in a blog. "Every time you jump and twist, you will form various complex patterns of" robot waves "in the robot formation."
